Traditionally, over 1,500 participants from 65 regions of Russia will take part in the exhibition. The total area of the exhibition will be over 20 thousand square meters.

The Silk Collection enterprise owes the presence at the “Ladya. Spring Fantasy” exhibition to the State Autonomous Institution “Business Incubator of the Vladimir Region”.

The painters of the Silk Collection workshop managed to transfer onto the fabric the most significant symbols of Victory for us – the St. George ribbon, fireworks, white doves of peace,  cranes returning home. Products of the Kolchugino enterprise of folk arts and crafts have already been awarded by the jury of the 27th All-Russian Exhibition-Fair “Ladya. Winter’s Tale ” in the category “For the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory “. Painter Lyubov Yakovleva was awarded a diploma for the 3rd place.

In 2020, a collection of designer scarves will be presented at exhibitions and festivals in Vladimir.

The Silk Collection enterprise of folk arts and crafts will take part in the annual festival of spring and creativity called “Rivers-Hands”. Traditionally, the festival will feature the newest series of products made of natural silk and wool, painted with the batik technique.

Items from the  “Murom fairy tales”, “Crafts” and “Cities” collections will be presented at the exhibition of the festival. At that, shawls and scarves from the popular “Herbs” and “Flowers of Russia” series will be available for sale.

The festival will be held from March 4 to 8  at the Art Propaganda Center (Bolshaya Moskovskaya, 24).

It is best to handwash hand-painted silk or wool products in lukewarm water (30° C).

Use neutral detergents for silk and wool, liquid soap, natural soap or fabric softener.

Do not rub or twist the fabric. This can lead to fiber delamination. In addition, do not soak silk for a long time, add bleaching agents or use powder detergent.

Light tint of water is normal during the first wash. This will not affect the quality of the product.

You can rinse silk and wool items in running water. Squeeze by hand or through a cotton cloth without twisting.

Silk does not require drying. You can immediately iron the garment with a moderately hot iron from the inside.

Following these simple rules will help prolong the life of your product. A shawl or a scarf, dress or stole will serve you for many years.

Natural silk is a luxurious and delicate fabric. Times change, but the fashion for exquisite and noble materials remains unchanged.

Silk clothes and accessories are now chosen not only by romantic creatures and women who prefer a classic style of clothing. The trend is a combination of styles and textures. And silk, even if it is in the minority, can add femininity and elegance to the image.

Stylists recommend we combine silk with leather, fur, as well as lace, velvet, knitwear and denim. These are the main, but not the only possible combinations.

Natural silk has a lot of undeniable advantages.

First, it is hypoallergenic, because it does not absorb dust or form mold. In silk clothes, our skin breathes and does not sweat, and due to the hygroscopicity of silk, the skin does not feel dry or tight. Silk clothes can be safely recommended for people with allergies and asthma.

Second, silk has an amazing ability to regulate body temperature: in summer silk clothing gives a cooling sensation, and in winter – it adds warmth. Our experience shows that silk can be used not only for summer clothes. Silk quilted jackets and coats, created by the designers of the “Silk Collection”, keep you warm on cool days.

Third, silk is strong and durable. Your favorite item will last a while. A handkerchief or a scarf can very well become a family heirloom and be passed down from generation to generation, if you choose so.

And also the flowing texture of silk, its softness and lightness, allows you to delicately hide any flaws in the figure and emphasize the curves you like. The folds of the silk fabric are cozy and the touch is pleasant to the skin.

Natural silk is a rather expensive material. It is made from threads harvested from the silkworm cocoon.

Silk accessories always look luxurious and eye-catching. They are the eye-candy of the wardrobe. We insist that every woman has a silk item.

A shawl, scarf or stole should be in harmony with the looks. Then it will logically fit into any image, add charm, emphasize advantages and hide flaws.

Before buying a scarf, determine your color type, that is, the combination of natural colors in your appearance – the color of skin, hair, eyes.

Stylists distinguish 4 main color types: winter, spring, summer and fall.

Deep blue, emerald, ruby, fuchsia, white, red will suit naturally eye-catching brunettes of the “winter” color type. When choosing an accessory, you should focus on eye color, choose deep and saturated colors.

Ladies of the “fall” color type have soft tones of hair and skin. When choosing a scarf or stole, they should pay attention to natural shades – brown and chocolate, yellow and gold, red and orange, green and emerald.

Blondes are “summer” color type, which are characterized by tenderness, softness, delicacy in appearance. When choosing an accessory these ladies should consider cool, restrained colors. Blue, turquoise shades would suit perfectly, just like matte silver, smoky gray and pastel.

“Spring” color type ladies- with fair skin and blond hair will look great with both warm and cold palette. But the most winning colors can be terracotta, olive, mustard, beige and light brown, mint, pistachio.

The “Silk Collection” shawls are universal. The front – “satin” – side will give the image a chic and a touch of glamour, and the seamy “matte” – will soften the image and will be a great addition to an everyday look.

In addition, we try to arrange the pattern on the scarf so that, depending on the tying style, a certain color comes upfront. By changing the strength of the knot and its position relative to the pattern, you can create different looks every day, place new color accents and amaze others.
