In addition to production, Silk Collection LLC also actively conducts social work, dedicates a lot of time and effort to working with children and youth, participates in charity events and marathons, takes part in creative forums, contests and exhibitions, cultural events held in cities of the Vladimir region and beyond.

Over the years, the workshop has taken part in more than 60 events in Vladimir, Moscow, Sergiev Posad, Nizhny Novgorod, Murom, Yaroslavl, Alexandrov, Yuryev-Polsky, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Ryazan, Dmitrov, Bogorodsk, Semenov, Klin, Paris, Simferopol, Veliky Novgorod.

The creative workshop is actively involved in celebrating the Family, Love and Fidelity Day in Murom. The painters of the Silk Collection designed and created a unique costume for Princess Fevronia, which became the decoration of the 2017 celebrations.

The defile and shows of the product collections have become one of the brightest events of the city holidays for several years in a row. The shows, prepared together with the Zhanna model school, are also held at major festivals. In 2017 “the Seasons” collection was shown at the Meadovukha-FEST in Suzdal, in 2018 – at the “Rivers-Hands” festival in Vladimir.


“The Silk Collection” has taken part in international forums and exhibitions many times, both as part of the Vladimir region stands and independently.

Almost always, the painters of the enterprise find the opportunity to conduct workshops for visitors, demonstrating the beauty of the art of painting on natural silk.

“Silk Collection” LLC  holds many exhibitions in the cities of the Vladimir region.

In 2017, the exhibition “Murom Tales” was successfully held in Murom. This same year the works of the Silk collection workshop complemented the exposition of a new touristic object in Kolchugino – a museum room at the local house of culture. In 2018, the regional exhibition was held in Vladimir.

The “Silk Collection” craftsmen regularly take part in the regional movement “From Heart to Heart”, initiated by the regional department of social protection. In social institutions of the region, painters conduct workshops in silk painting for people with disabilities. Within this movement, similar events took place in Murom, Vyazniki, Gus-Khrustalny, Yuryev-Polsky.


Another project in which the painters of the “Silk Collection” are actively participating is the “I Can Do It Myself” project to teach women in difficult life situations the basics of craft. The project was twice supported by the Presidential Grants Fund. 60 women were trained in the program in 2019-2020.

In 2020, the “Silk Collection” took part in “the War-Scorched Daisies” project dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. 11 silk scarves from “the Victory Flowers” collection were presented to women whose lives were changed by the war – the heroins of the project fought together with men, selflessly worked in the rearward, survived the horrors of the blockade and the loss of loved ones. Silk scarves, matched the character and appearance of each woman, were used in photo shoots when creating a photo exhibition of the project.

Since 2016, the Silk Collection Enterprise has been one of the founders, organizers and participants of the Vladimir Regional Public Organization “Vladimir Regional Craftsmen’s Club”.

In cooperation with the Vladimir branch of “OPORA RUSSIA”, with the direct participation of experts – company representatives – in 2016, a regional law on handicrafts was developed and adopted. The craftsmen of the Vladimir region are sought to  be united, the government is looking to support artisans and preserve the trades and crafts of the Vladimir work.

The head of the company, Oksana Shevtsova is the chairperson of the committee for the development of The Union of National Crafts, created at the Vladimir regional branch of “OPORA RUSSIA”, and is an expert of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
