The results of the All-Russian competition of folk arts and crafts of Russia “Young talents – 2020”, which is traditionally held by the Association “Folk arts and crafts of Russia”, has been announced.

It is a pleasure that the high jury has also recognized the “Silk Collection” LLC. Our company was awarded in the category “For the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory”.

For the headscarf “Victory Salute” (painter L. Yakovleva) we were awarded a 3rd degree diploma.

The “Silk Collection” took part in the “War-Scorched Chamomile” project dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. 11 silk scarves from the “Victory Flowers” collection were donated to women whose lives were changed by the war – the heroines of the project fought together with men, selflessly worked in the rearward, survived the horrors of the blockade and the loss of loved ones.

Silk scarves, matched to the personality and looks of each woman, were used in photo shoots when creating a photo exhibition of the project.

The project was presented at a meeting of the Council for Culture and Arts of the Vladimir Region, and the “Daisies Scorched by War”exhibition  is open in the main building of the Vladimir Regional Library for Children and Youth (Vladimir, Mira st., 51).

 

 


A permanent exposition of Russian folk art products has opened in Moscow at VDNKh (Pavilion 457). You can visit the Exhibition of Contemporary Folk Art (ECFA), which united the products of two dozen enterprises of folk arts and crafts from all over Russia, daily (except Monday) from 11am  to 8pm.

Along with other enterprises of folk arts and crafts, the Silk Collection LLC is also presented at the exhibition.


Products of the Kolchugino enterprise of folk arts and crafts “Silk collection” LLC were awarded by the jury in the nomination “For the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory”. Painter Lyubov Yakovleva was awarded a diploma for the 3rd place. XXVII Exhibition-Fair “Ladya. Winter’s Tale” took place in Moscow on December 11 thru 15. In the competition”Silk Collection” LLC presented new series of gift scarves “Flowers of Victory”.

The painters of the workshop transferred to silk the most significant symbols of Victory  – the St. George ribbon, fireworks, white doves, cranes returning home. And the mood of the most important holiday for our people is conveyed by flowers – red carnations, forget-me-nots, lilacs, apple and pear blossoms.


The Silk Collection Enterprise is preparing to participate in the All-Russian Exhibition-Fair of

FolkArts and  Crafts “Ladya. Spring fantasy ”.

The event will take place at the Moscow Expocenter (Moscow, 14Krasnopresnenskaya bank) from March4 to 8 .

Traditionally, over 1,500 participants from 65 regions of Russia will take part in the exhibition. The total area of the exhibition will be over 20 thousand square meters.

The Silk Collection enterprise owes the presence at the “Ladya. Spring Fantasy” exhibition to the State Autonomous Institution “Business Incubator of the Vladimir Region”.


The crew of the Guberniya-33 TV and Radio Company visited the Silk Collection workshop of folk arts and crafts. Journalists were filming a report about the new gift collection called “Flowers of Victory”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

 

The painters of the Silk Collection workshop managed to transfer onto the fabric the most significant symbols of Victory for us – the St. George ribbon, fireworks, white doves of peace,  cranes returning home. Products of the Kolchugino enterprise of folk arts and crafts have already been awarded by the jury of the 27th All-Russian Exhibition-Fair “Ladya. Winter’s Tale ” in the category “For the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory “. Painter Lyubov Yakovleva was awarded a diploma for the 3rd place.

In 2020, a collection of designer scarves will be presented at exhibitions and festivals in Vladimir.


The Silk Collection enterprise of folk arts and crafts will take part in the annual festival of spring and creativity called “Rivers-Hands”. Traditionally, the festival will feature the newest series of products made of natural silk and wool, painted with the batik technique.

Items from the  “Murom fairy tales”, “Crafts” and “Cities” collections will be presented at the exhibition of the festival. At that, shawls and scarves from the popular “Herbs” and “Flowers of Russia” series will be available for sale.

The festival will be held from March 4 to 8  at the Art Propaganda Center (Bolshaya Moskovskaya, 24).
